On Tuesday April 8th, almost 150 people met in one of the parish halls. A parishioner, Tim Breslin, helped secure an independent qualified estimate from a respected contractor specializing in historic restoration and from a respected engineer. Several other parishioners helped him with the presentation. They also started a Fund to being Fundraising. The estimate is $300,000 less than demolishing St Laurentius Church; it makes fiscal sense for Our Parish and even the archdiocese; it helps maintain history, art and a beautiful Catholic presence. It saves St Laurentius Church. The group is committed to raising $100,000 by Memorial Day and people already have donated money to the cause.
Please consider donating as an individual, a family or a group of friends and we will reach the total cost of the project quickly. Every donation is important to reaching our goal!
